Frankfurt has always been my final destination after trans-atlantic flights, yet here i am, ready this time to spend the next five hours pacing terminal 1, rather than board a train in the DB station downstairs, bound for Bammental.
All in all, it was a pretty uneventful flight, minus the nauseating turbulence mid-trip. Entertained myself with the movie, the occasional decemberists song, and a fascinating article about 3 mexican sailors lost at sea for 9 months (thanks A!). What to do now? Practice my german? Seek out a Tchibo and buy myself a brötchen?
Emotions must be close to the surface right now... "Freedom Writers" made me teary. Pathetic...
