-First you see two shots from the Addis to Moyale roadtrip - somewhere in the highlands between Awassa and Agare Mariam, and then somewhere between Yabello and Moyale.
-The three Somali women represent the women's group in the settlement of Bede, which I visited on the shorter-than-expected field trip on my first venture to Moyale.
-Next you'll find a blurry group photo of myself with three SC Moyale coworkers: one of the guards, my translator/advisor/friend, and the woman who does everything from clean the floors, to bring us tea, and attempt to bring me to Somali language proficiency (it's slow going...).
-And last, one of my Italian housemates and I enjoying our favorite vegetarian meal of shiro tegamino. Incidentally, I ate it for my last Moyale lunch today as well. It's delicious.
And now I'm going to cross my fingers and press the "pubblica post" button. Enjoy!

do you know the elevation you're appx. at? (i guess i could look it up, too)
oh and, i looked up "shiro tegamino" because i'm obsessed with foods and it said, "habas con una salsa picante" (it didn't say in english when i looked for it).
is it really fava beans with spicy sauce? i happen to be fascinated with fava beans.
